Aviation was at one time my life. I literally worked my way up the ladder at several major airlines. Started as an aircraft cleaner and baggage handler.Worked my way into Aircraft Maintenance where I eventually got my A&P and FCC licenses. Avionics Tech was my next stint all while persuing my real love of flying by saving every dime for flight training in the hopes of flying heavy metal. It took several years but I got all the ratings and eventually got hired as an engineer on the B727. I eventually got tired of being laid off every 2 or three years that I quit the airlines and started my own business. Now I fly for fun and on occasion help out a friend who runs a small flight club when he needs a CFI or maintenance on one of his planes. Love the stressless life away from the high pressure airline industry that has very little security and very little return on ones investment.
