How long is the Instrument flight knowledge test good for?

Does the Validity of the Instrument knowledge test go for exactly 2 years after you take it or does it go to the end of the 24th calender month. i.e. i took it at the beginning of December 2 years ago is it good till the end of this December?

    61.39(a)(1) has your answer. In part it states 24-calendar-month. The test is valid till the end of the month.

    Look on the test report. It will give you the exact date of expiration, as to clear up an confusement of the 24 calendar months.
