I recently had a student who purchased it as a gift for a good friend – apparently the friend was crazy about them and had wanted one for quite a while. Personally I have never used them, I’ve used Bose, DC, ASA, and such. I have heard that they are slightly better than Bose (mixed reviews), but when it comes down to it I think they are all good (I would hope so for the price!). I would try them on and compare them to others for comfort (if possible) because when it comes down to it you’ll probably care about comfort a lot more than barely noticeable, if at all noticeable, noise cancelling.
Hope that helps, that was more vague than I’d like to be and probably more so than you were hoping! Good luck!
