Expense Reimbursement

Asked by: 1330 views FAA Regulations, Private Pilot

For my job, I have to travel all over the country to work various events. The company I work for does not require a certain method of transportation and will reimburse me for gas when I drive or a plane ticket and hotel, up to a certain amount, if the trip is farther away. I recently started thinking about renting out a plane and flying myself out to those events that are a longer drive and too expensive to fly commercially. Could I legally ask for reimbursement for the lease of the plane and the fuel for these trips with just with just my private license? Also, the company I work for is based in Switzerland, I don’t know if that changes anything.
