LAX special flight rules

Asked by: 1494 views

I have a airspace endorsement so I can fly into bigger airspaces. I prefer class E because I find it layed back and easy. I do occasionally fly into class C airspace. I have always been interested in flying to KLAX. But that is class B airspace and I find C airspace complicated. My brother who is a private pilot said there is special flight rules that make it easier. I didn't understand him explaining it. So can any CFI or other pilot explain the special flight rules please?

The LA SFRA and the options are described on the LA TAC chart. If you don’t understand them your best bet is a discussion with a local CFI.
