Endorsing a CFI-I applicant

Hi all-

If I already hold my CFI and want to add my II, do I need the 3+ hours of ground/flight to be done with a 24+ month instructor (like the initial) or can a newer CFI-I endorse me for the check ride?  Thanks in advance!

    You do not need a 24+ instructor. That is only for the initial CFI. Sort of like you only need to take the FOI test before the initial CFI.
