Alert Areas (MOA’s) dimension

Reference the huge Alert Area surrounding Seymour Muni (60F). If a pilot could fly underneath it below 700' agl would he have to talk to Center? I'm assuming the MOA goes down to 700' agl but not sure.

Answer: altitudes for MOA’s are published on the back of the sectional. If I had looked a little further I would have found the answer……sorry. Duhh

However, don’t take the limits as guarantees that everything happens inside the MOA. Military aircraft routinely “spill out of” MOA’s for a variety of reasons. At the same time, there is no restriction for flying through an MOA. You just want to use an extra degree of caution in and around an MOA.
