Hi guys, I'm in preparing the ppl oral exam and I'm curious about if I would be asked about every maneuver like steep turn, ground reference maneuver, power on/off stall and etc.

The conduct of the test is defined in the private pilot ACS.

The examiner MUST check some items, the examiner MUST check the required number of items within a group, and the examiner CAN check every item. I have never yet seen an examiner do much more than the required minimum.

Normally, the oral and the flight are conducted together. In fact, that is the way the FAA tells the examiners to do it despite the fact the examiners have tried to explain that more latitude allows for better testing. So, I would be surprised if you are only scheduled for the oral portion. My guess is that perhaps you misunderstood what was going to happen and that you’re actually going to go through a Part 141 stage check or a mock oral to evaluate your knowledge before recommending you for the test.
