Hey everyone, I've been away from the site for a long long time, but I finally made it back!  Question... I have about a half a page left in my first log book, so whats next? I get a new log book, but all of my training and experience, endorsements, etc. are all in my first log book...

It’s a fun milestone filling up your first log book, isn’t it?

I’m not sure what you mean by “what’s next”. You just keep filling in the new pages like before, and at the bottom, the “carried forward” line will be all the totals from your first log book.

As far as the endorsements go, are you currently in training for something? I’d have any new endorsements, like for checkrides, go in the new book.

If you’re not in training for something, there’s no issue. Unless you’re a sport pilot and have a reason (endorsements) that require you to carry the logbook when you fly, you should be keeping it safe at home anyway. If you ever need to show anybody your endorsements, you show them the pertinent logbook.

If you question is whether all that stuff needs to be copied over, absolutely not.
