FAA Regulations

Hello,

I am foreign,  trainned in USA couple a years ago,

1)planning for my  commercial MEL/IR  certificate to do a  BFR (since has passed 24 calendar months already from my last BFR )  and an IPC  for my instrument rating(which is also  pass 12 calendar months since my last one).

2)  plan to add  a SEL rating as well.

I am not quite sure if for purposes of Flight Reviews/IPC, foreigns are clear to go with a tourist visa or (in my case) a visa waiver (ESTA).

and only incase issuance  a new class rating (SEL)  a m-1 visa need to be obtain.

***( the school i came in contact , says that SEL add on is not TSA requierements so M-1 visa isnt necessary)***

any information  much appriciated :)

thanks in advance
