In order to endorse a recreational pilot for flight greater than 50 miles, do they need the full 3 hrs of dual and 10 hrs of solo x-c listed in Part 61 sub part E?

    Dan,

I believe that a recreational pilot would require the 3 hours of xc dual plus 5 hours of xc solo flight time consisting of at least the round robin flight and 3 t/o and landings at an operational control tower as required under sub part E. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
