Pre-Solo written test prep.

Asked by: 2973 views Student Pilot

What is the minimum fuel reserve for day VFR flight and on what cruise speed is the fuel reserve based?

Answere = No VFR flight unless (considering wind and forecast weather conditions)

Day: 30 min at 2350 RPM cruise speed
Night: 45 min at 2350 RPM cruise speed

Ok but how do I read the cruise speed based on this fuel reserve?

POH by calculation?

Kind regards.

Danny

    Presolo written test prep question.

I got this question: What is CTAF? Explain the CTAF procedures at your home airport.

At KTMB the operational houres are 1200-400 but it says also attended contingeous. So outside the 1200-400 pm how do I comunicate CTAF, do I still get clearances or does ATC not respond after these operating houres?
