How much does a New CFI can earn in CA?

I'm curious about the average rate x h offered by schools in LA area and San Diego area... I know the weather is perfect over there which help a lot to reach 100h or more a month... but i would like to know if is worth for me to move to the west coast. I have around 500h total time.

    Working for a flight school you can make anywhere from $12-$20 an hour, depending on the school and how many hours you fly. As an independent you can get $40-$50 an hour.
