Little drain under Cessna 172R

Hi, On the Cessna 172R, close to the under nose fuel drain, (left side when facing the plane) there is a little aluminum pipe that looks like a drain... anyone knws what it is exactly ? Thanks.

    I don’t know the C172R other than it has a fuel injected engine. With fuel injected engines, whole fuel from the injectors can be pumped into the intake manifold prior to starting. The intake manifold will normally have a drain located at the lowest spot in the manifold thru which this excess fuel can drain out and onto the ground.
