How much will it cost to get the tests for the FOI and Basic knowledge ? Once I pass those, how much is it for the certificate?

    Depending on if you take the test at a Lasergrade or CATS test and if you are a member of AOPA you it generally costs about $125.00 per knowledge test.
    The FSDO does not charge for administering the paperwork leaving it as one of the few “free” things in aviation.
