- Have a foreign Commercial ASEL applicant who would like to add Commercial privileges to his restricted FAA private pilot certificate. TSA has released him for training and my question is: Do I need to complete all training requirements of FAR "61" subpart F or does he receive any credit for his previous training for foreign commercial certificate. Also is he required to take the Commercial written exam as well?
