Filling out IACRA

Asked by: 6504 views ,

Okay, before I get a bunch of no answers, 91.159 allows up to 100 hours of sim time to count towards my 1500 of flight time.

Now my question is, I am below the 1500 hours required for my ATP, and am going to use my 40 hours of FSS time I am about to receive to get my 1500.   Well, IACRA will not allow me to submit the form unless it has 1500 in that box.  So do I add the 40 hours into the flight time box?  I already know its not automatically adding it when it is placed in the FSS category.

Thank you.

Your best bet is to call Airman Certification in Oklahoma City and ask them

Okay, found out the answer to this…at my oral. This is how the DPEs are doing it. If less than 1500hrs you fill out the Restricted ATP form, and just enter the numbers in their respective categories: flight time in flight time, FTD time in FTD, FSS in FSS. It is the job of the DPE to then certify the time. IACRA will eventually (in about ten thousand years) to take this into account.
