Hold Line Questions

Asked by: 962 views FAA Regulations

If given LUAW instruction for your departure runway prior to reaching the hold line, must you stop and request clearance? If given take-off clearance prior to reaching the hold line, must you stop and request clearance and then reconfirm take-0ff clearance?

both of these clearances, once acknowledged and repeated to the tower do not require further action. once either clearance has been received and repeated, you have been cleared on to the active runway and thus, past the hold bar.
