American Flyers

I have been reading very mixed reviews of American Flyers (specifically in Dallas/Addison). I'm not sure if this is an appropriate question, but if you don't mind giving a review without much anonymity, the. It would be great if the community here could give a critical review of the CFI/CFII 30 day program there. If not American Flyers, who would you suggest for such a program? ATP is out because they don't accept students for just CFI.
I have done all of my training this far at three different local, small FBOs. I am comfortable doing my CFI and CFII at one of those FBOs but in the interest of time and pass rates (and the new found single life), I am tempted to go to a 'pilot mill' so I can have my CFI before the summer hits. People have warned me about the cost, but for AF I don't feel that it's that steep of a price, 3.5k for 4 hrs a day of ground school for 20 days, plus 10 hrs duals flight, and unlimited simulator time (the real bread and butter in This deal). So I think of it as likely being 4.5k total after hidden fees (checkrides, materials, etc) and try and compare that to the amount of time I might waste at a local FBO, and losing an entire summer of instructing.
Sorry for the rant, but if anyone could give me their 2 cents on pilot mills, with specific names and locations, or just any suggestions, that would be great!
