Where do I get my temporary private certificate?

Asked by: 4721 views FAA Regulations, General Aviation, Helicopter, Private Pilot

So I just did my helicopter addon recently and the examiner said a link would be sent to my email for me to print my temporary certificate while I wait for my actual hard license in the mail.

Its been some time now and no email.

Does anyone know where I can manually find the link to print it out? I was thinking maybe somewhere in the IACRA website, but didn't see anything obvious.

Thanks

I’ve never heard of a link being sent, I’ve always gotten it from the DPE after he printed it and singled it.. Call the examiner and or your local FSDO.

Also suggest you do a search at the FAA.gov Airman Certification site:

    https://amsrvs.registry.faa.gov/airmeninquiry/

See what the FAA shows as your certificates, etc.

Also never heard of a link being sent, you should have left the test location
    with your temporary in-hand.

I just did as you recommended MaggotCFII and they only have my fixed wing private listed from many years ago. There is however a print option next to it, but I’m not sure if that’s just a summary or a valid temp certificate.

I emailed the FSDO also so we’ll see what they say about the email. I’m 95% certain that the examiner said I’d be able to print it out via email either that day or the next (checkride was at a different airport), but it sounds like this isn’t true.

    We’ll see what happens.
