    Yes! I can say that even though your question is ambiguous (I don’t know what “the maps” are that you asked about).

    FAA charts are useable outside the USA. If you’re flying to the USA from another country (Canada, for example), you can get paper FAA charts delivered to you from a variety of providers, or you can use tools like ForeFlight to view them on an iPad. You can even view them online free of charge. Try http://www.skyvector.com for one place to view current FAA charts for free.

    If you’re asking about charts for a non-USA country (which wasn’t specified in your question; so I can’t provide specifics here), you’ll want to ask that country’s aviation administration for your options.
