Flight test boom

Please can anyone explain to me what they mean by

the low airspeed for this ADP is between 50 to 200 knots

and the high airsoeed is from 0.2 to 0.9 Mach

 

my question here why if airspeed is below 50 , it will work effectively or not ??

    They are two different models of essentially the same item. The low speed model, part number 0092BH/BJ 1 and 2, have an effective range of 50 – 200 kts and an AOA range of +/- 30 degrees. The high-speed model, part number 0092BH/BJ 3 and 4, has an effective range of mach .2 – .9 and an AOA range of +/- 20 degrees. It sounds to me that if, for example, you wanted to do a flight test at both 100kts and mach ,5, you would need to get both models, as just one doesn’t work with enough precision at that large of a speed range. It sounds like the low speed model would not work below 50kts, or at least not work accurately enough.

    The two models will meet their published accuracy (percent error if you will) within the speed range given. Beyond that you cannot know your error without using other testing methods.
