MD 80 instructor

I have an MD80 PIC rating (includes Multiengine and instrument rating).

I would like to become an instructor/examiner for MD80, both at the SIM and in flight.

What do I have to do?

    Paolo,
    When you say you have an MD80 PIC rating it is automatically understood that you have a multi-engine and instrument rating. Being an instructor on MD80 can be accomplished in 2 different ways. One, ask your employer, the airline that you work for, and they can set you up for this internally. If you do not have an employer, and own your own MD80, then you need an FAA Flight Instructor multi-engine (MEI) certificate, alongwith Instrument instructor rating (CFII).
    If you are based outside of the USA, then all of the above might be completely not applicable to you.
