IFR Cross Country Navlog

For an IFR navlog, should I include the approach? I don’t understand how I would be able to do that since I wouldn’t know what approach I’d be using until I get the atis at the destination airport.

    I would not. It is more than likely you will be vectored when near the destination an I am not going to be using a navlog when maneuvering on an approach. I just add an allowance for the approach in terms of time and fuel.
