Regarding 14CFR 91.167 (a), what would constitute a "normal cruising speed"?
Would a long range cruise power setting constitute normal cruising speed or must the power setting used to calculate the required 45 mins. relate to the cruising speed stated on the flight plan?
What power setting/altitude would be the controlling factor (to achieve a 45 min. reserve) in the case of a turbine aircraft where the fuel burn varies greatly with altitude?
