Commercial Rating: Night XC Flight — can I stop and have dinner and then return?

I have to log a 2 hour, dual, night XC with the first landing >100NM from the point of departure.  Can my CFI and I fly out one hour, more than 100NM, land, have dinner and then fly back one hour?  Or, does it have to be the full two hours in the air before the first landing?

    I have done this flying into Ponca City, OK and eating at Enrique’s on the field. Works best in the winter since the restaurant closes at 9 PM.

    Although your question has been answered, I’ll throw out another option: Fly your day 2-hour XC to somewhere, eat dinner as the sun sets, then fly your night 2-hour XC back. I’ve done this multiple times with great success – gets both requirements done efficiently.
