Changes in attitude produced by flap retraction (just like flap extension) are different depending on make and model. In extension, for example, a C172 will tend to initially pitch up when the flaps are extended, but a PA28 will tend to pitch down. The key in =your= airplane is to understand what it does and to anticipate and compensate so the transition is smooth, for both takeoff and landing.

In most (all?), the removal of takeoff flaps will also result in some settling of the aircraft. That’s why it is important to ensure you are comfortable away from the ground with a positive rate of climb before retraction.

It’s really simple enough to see exactly how your airplane reacts. Go through the process at altitude and see what it does.
