Problem with putting an IFR flight in the GPS

How do you input an IFR flight plan to an airport with a GPS approach but none of the IAFs or feeder fixes appear on any IFR enroute or IFR area chart?

    This seems so easy I’m clearly missing something. Assuming that what you say is true (although since feeder routes are designed to bring you from the en-route structure to an approach it seems unlikely) then:

    You load the approach and your flight plan, and go direct from the last point on your flight plan to the appropriate IAF on the approach. How you do that, i.e. what buttons you press, is dependent on your GPS.

    What am I missing?

    When you want to add an app in the GPS you push the proc key and it will let you add in approachs. but for it to work you need to have the end airport in first. but i’d tell ya to wait till you get somewhat there before adding in an app either way/
