AWOS and CTAF same frequency?

I understand the differences between unicom and CTAF as well the different AWOS types. I see an airport I am flying to has a CTAF frequency of 122.7 and a AWOS-A on 122.70. 

So AWOS-A only reports altimeter. So do I call somebody up on 122.70 and ask them for the altimeter? They would not be able to advise wind or anything else?

Just confused me. Thanks

    Which airport?

    It could be but it doesn’t sound right that an automated system would depend upon someone being at the desk at an FBO. Are you sure it’s not an automated UNICOM?

    It may be a Super AWOS. We had this at our airport in NM. Three clicks on CTAF would give us the AWOS.
