Helicopter EGT / ITT question

On a twin engine helicopter using the eecu, with the a/c not running ,when you switch off battery power the egt(itt)of one engine shows maximum temp(1150 deg c) and the other engine shows normal temp(4deg c)What could be causing this phenomena?)

    Too little information. I assume this is a twin turbine aircraft. This may well be a maintence code, perhaps showing an over temp on the one engine of 1150 (most turbine engines have an ITT/EGT limit of about 800).
