Good Non Owner/Renters Insurance?

Asked by: 3801 views , ,

I am looking for a good renters insurance and am seeking the guidance of pros.  I know everyone has their own experiences and I would like to hear them to help me make my choice.  Also I would rather have monthly Payments rather than all at once if any of them do that.  Thanks in advance.

There are 3 main companies that are offering non-owned and renter’s insurance. AIG, CV Starr and Avemco. You can go to Avemco directly, but AIG and CVStarr require you to use a broker like AOPA or your local aviation broker. Ask around if you need one at the local flight school, most people have a broker they like to deal with. I will say that AIG and CV Starr’s policies are very similar, but both are superior in coverages to Avemco, which places greater restrictions on sub-limits.
