Lazy Eight Maneuver

What is exactly "maximum pitch" while performing a lazy eight?

I have always associated maximum pitch when the airplane reaches minimum control airspeed. Is this correct?

    Maximum pitch attitude which should’t correspond to the minimum control speed ( ~ stall + 5).

    During the first HALF of the 180 turn the airspeed should decrease constantly till reaching almost stall once completed the first 90.
    During the first QUARTER of the 180 turn the pitch should increase, during the second quarter decrease till level attitude (the nose cut through the horizon).

    There is no prescribed maximum pitch in the PTS. Personally, and on my check ride, I was on the order of 40 degrees of bank and 30 degrees of pitch. As long as the maneuver is symmetrical on both sides, coordinated, and demonstrates a constant change of pitch and bank I don’t think you’ll find many examiners who will nit pick on you.

    PS it’s a visual maneuver. I cannot tell you my exact pitch and bank because I never looked inside till the maneuver was over.
