Multi commercial first or single commercial first?

So here's my scenario. I have a multi engine certificate and just completed my instrument checkride last week. I fly a baron but also have access to a mooney and want to get my commercial knocked out while I'm in the studying mood.  Am I better off doing my commercial training in the mooney then getting the Multi add-on right away or would it be better doing the multi first then the single add-on. 

I have more than 10 hours of instruction in the baron and have all my cross countries in the baron as well except for maybe the night cross country which I can quickly get. 

From what I understand my initial commercial ticket will need to be taken in the airplane that I have all the cross country time done in, or am I understanding this incorrectly?

    A common puzzler, the answer to which is, it depends. Multi time is expensive so most go the ASEL route, but if you are current and proficient in the multi now, it may work for you to do the multi first. Since you do not have a commercial certificate, we go to Part 61, commercial pilots (Subpart F). If you go the multi route, you will need to meet the 61.129 b experience requirements for the multi engine commercial rating. As you will see it is a fair number of hours in cross country, solo, etc., just read carefully to distinguish between time required in Airplanes vs time required in multi engine airplanes. Without your logbook totals, I couldn’t tell you which would be better for you at this point, but in any event moving along with training while still current is better than starting over in a year or so.
