lesson plan usage for CFI course.

Asked by: 2072 views Commercial Pilot, Flight Instructor, General Aviation, Private Pilot, Student Pilot

Hey guys,

Few days ago, friend of mine, introudced me some website that sells the cfi cfii mei lesson plans at $75 and I do not know whether it will be a good option to go ahead and buy it. I guess it will have far more details and notes than AFH and PHAK, and what do you think about this?

If you are just looking for some sample lesson plans, them by all means go ahead. If however, you are preparing for the MEI practical, I would strongly suggest you make your own. The best way to prepare for all the subject matter is to review the material bu writing your own lesson plans. Reading from someone elses is not nearly as effective. When I was preparing for the CFI practical (I did my initial CFI as an MEI) I went through the PTS and crafted a lesson plan for each item in the PTS. I found this to be a fantastic way to review all the material. Would strongly suggest that anyone planning a CFI practical, make their own lesson plans.

It sounds about the same as buying a term paper off the internet. More concerned about passing the course/test without needing to invest any time or effort, than learning the material.
