91.205 with a Glass Cockpit no Standby

OK, I am struggling to find out the real answer.

I fly for a school that has G-1000 equipped aircraft and the Standby instruments are digital (Aspen) instruments.  I am trying to find out if the Standby Instruments are "INOP" can that aircraft be from VFR Day?

    Why are you asking about 91.205?

    Where would you normally look to find out what limitations (hint, hint) are associated with the G1000 system and the backup instruments based on the kind of operation (hint, hint) being conducted?
