Student Pilot Certificate

I have a student who is getting back in to flying after 20+ years. His has a student pilot certificate from '98 (the yellow tag one). What is the process for getting him a plastic card? We called IACRA and were unsuccessful.

    The old certificate has since expired. (As you are probably aware)

    Just have him fill out the application in IACRA.

    Then you process it as you would any other student.

    He can print out the temporary and will receive a plastic certificate from OKC, eventually.
