Rotorcraft CFI giving Ground portion of BFR to ASEL pilot

I'm hold a rotorcraft CFI. I also hold an ASEL Private Pilot certificate. I'm current in both. Can I give the ground portion of the BFR to a current ASEL pilot? Although not technically a training flight I do not think I can give the flight portion of the BFR to an ASEL pilot?

    A Ground Instructor can give the ground instruction for a flight review as outlined in 61.215.

    Of course you can provide the ground training for the flight review. You should be familiar with Part 91 and that is what is required to be covered.

    The flight portion of the flight review consists of 1 hour of flight training, so it is technically a training flight. As a helicopter CFI, you cannot provide the training in an airplane.
